This year\u2019s National SEL Week kicks off with International SEL Day on Monday, March 3, 2025. As we work to prepare students for a successful future, we know that social and emotional learning helps provide a foundation of durable skills \u2013 skills help us thrive in our careers, communities, and lives. Those skills are the foundation for National SEL Week 2025\u2019s theme: <\/span>Skills for Success, Ready for the Future<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Employers across the country have made clear that problem solving, teamwork, relationship building, and communication skills are some of their most sought-after skills in the workforce. SEL prepares students to be future ready and to thrive in the careers of tomorrow.<\/span><\/p>\n Furthermore, decades of research and classroom experience tells us that students thrive with supportive relationships, healthy environments, rigorous and engaging instruction, and the skills to navigate and meet the challenges and demands of academic goals.<\/span><\/p>\n Social and emotional learning sets students on a path to a bright future with the skills that will help them succeed in life and attain their limitless potential.<\/span><\/p>\n How?<\/span><\/p>\nNational SEL Week is a call to rally together in our communities and connect online to showcase the power of social and emotional learning.\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n
